DecorAI (“DecorAI”, “we”, “us”) provides an AI room makeover app and AI room design app available on the Apple App Store, Google Play and as a web application. This Privacy Policy applies to the DecorAI website, the mobile applications and the DecorAI Web App.

Information We Collect

Room Photos You Upload

The core function of DecorAI is room design from photo. When you upload a room photo, that image is processed so an AI room transformation can be generated from it. Photos are used to deliver the service you requested — producing before-and-after room concepts — and to operate and maintain the app.

Please avoid uploading images that contain documents, screens, personal correspondence, or other people where you do not have their agreement. Photographs of a home interior can be more identifying than they first appear.

Account Information

If you create an account, we may collect an email address or a third-party sign-in identifier, along with your saved room makeovers and preferences so they are available across devices.

Purchase Information

Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are processed by Apple or Google. We receive confirmation of subscription status but do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Usage and Device Information

We collect standard technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, language, approximate region derived from IP address, and interaction events such as which sections of this website are viewed or which download buttons are selected.

Analytics and Measurement

This website uses the following measurement services. Each one collects information according to its own privacy policy:

• Google Analytics 4 — aggregate traffic and engagement reporting, including events such as clicks on the App Store and Google Play download buttons.
• Meta Pixel — measurement and advertising attribution for campaigns run on Meta platforms.
• Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights — privacy-focused page performance and traffic measurement.

These services may set cookies or similar identifiers. You can limit them through your browser settings, your device advertising controls, or any consent choice presented to you.

How We Use Information

• To generate AI room makeovers and room design concepts you request.
• To save, sync and display your room transformations across devices.
• To operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the service.
• To measure which features and interior styles are actually used.
• To process subscriptions and provide customer support.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Legal Bases for Processing

Where the GDPR or comparable law applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (delivering the room makeover you requested), legitimate interests (securing and improving the service), consent (optional analytics and marketing where consent is required), and legal obligation.

Sharing Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate DecorAI, including cloud hosting and storage providers, AI image processing infrastructure, analytics providers, and payment platforms operated by Apple and Google. Providers are permitted to use the information only to deliver services to us.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case we will notify affected users.

Data Retention

Room photos and generated room makeovers are retained while your account is active so you can return to them. You can delete individual room transformations from within the app. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, accounting or security purposes.

Your Rights and Choices

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Delete your account and associated room photos.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Request portability of data you provided to us.
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent.
• Opt out of analytics through browser settings or device-level controls.

Children's Privacy

DecorAI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

International Transfers

DecorAI operates internationally, and information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom.

Security

We use technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. The revision date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version, and material changes will be communicated in the app or by email where appropriate.
